Working as the Building Services, Acoustics and Specialist Lighting Consultant, our team developed an integrated design solution for the 3,800-capacity venue, balancing exceptional audience experience with sustainability, operational flexibility and technical performance.
The building services design incorporates a range of low-carbon engineering solutions, including sustainable district heating, on-site microgeneration and intelligent building controls that optimise energy use during both event and non-event operation.
The result is a highly adaptable, technically advanced venue designed to meet the demands of today’s entertainment industry while delivering an engaging and memorable experience for every visitor.
Alongside the core engineering services, OR Consulting delivered the design and integration of a range of specialist systems, including:
- Theatrical show lighting infrastructure and lighting overlay facilities to support touring productions.
- DMX lighting control systems and house lighting.
