The challenge of this ground breaking project was to create a three storey hospitality space directly opening onto the arena bowl. This retrofit project is the first of its kind in the UK.
The Mezz is part of the AO Arena’s £50m transformation to improve capacity and create a VIP members’ bar and restaurant to rival the best venues in Manchester’s vibrant dining scene. Guests can enjoy a choice of two elevated hospitality experiences leading directly into the bowl for panoramic views of the entertainment.
Our acoustic and lighting designs were able to facilitate the transformation of an existing storage space to a new multi-level hospitality area, opening directly onto the Arena Bowl.
