As low carbon refurbishment specialists, OR Consulting were employed to give a second opinion on a £500,000 AC replacement scheme proposed for their 24/7 Call Centre in Bristol.
OR Consulting carried out a condition survey of the existing plant to understand if a more balanced approach of re-use and replacement could be adopted and to reflect the short term remaining on NHS Directís lease.
OR Consulting identified a low carbon refurbishment strategy that more readily reflected the five year term remaining on NHS Directís lease and the 24/7 operational pressures that exist on the call centre.
As a consequence, OR Consulting were retained to carry out the design for the alternative scheme, which resulted in Client savings of £300,000.

The client made a saving of £300,000 on the original project scope. The fit-out was completed on time with minimal disruption to the administration and call centre operations, allowing the call centre to remain fully operational throughout.
