  • The detailing of exposed thermal mass to contribute to the eco house's passive cooling strategy.
  • The use of 100% low energy light fittings.
  • The specification of photovoltaic panels to generate 70% of the eco house's annual electrical requirements.
  • The design of the heating system to allow future integration with an air source heat pump.
